Turn the machines you own into tap-to-pay.
Included with every plan
Not new hardware — a free upgrade kit for the fleet you already run. Earn them as you grow.
Why operators are upgrading
Operators upgrading their machines have seen around a 20% lift in transactions. But the best reason isn't the number.
You get ahead of your merchant
More locations are asking for tap-to-pay. There's a real difference between being the operator who brings the upgrade — and the one being chased for it. Showing up with it first is how you keep a location happy and keep it yours.
You capture the transactions you're losing
Someone with their phone but not their card is a withdrawal you'd otherwise turn away. A tap-enabled machine catches it instead of losing it to the ATM down the street.
You hold the good locations
As merchants come to expect modern payments, a card-only machine starts to look dated. Tap-ready keeps you competitive for the spots worth having.
You stay relevant as cards fade
Fewer people carry cards every year. A machine that only reads cards slowly goes quiet. NFC keeps it in the game as the way people pay keeps changing.
You cut your skimming exposure
With a tap, the card's stripe never touches the machine — so there's nothing for a skimmer to capture, and one less dispute to deal with.
How the program works
Free kits as you grow
Onboard five machines and your first NFC upgrade kit is on us. After that, another free kit for every eight machines you add. The kits run $300 to $400 each if you bought them outright — with us, they're part of growing your fleet.
Simple to install
The kit installs onto an ATM you already own — it's a self-install most operators handle themselves. If you'd rather not, we'll help you find a third party who can fit it for you.
Works on most retail ATMs
Any standard retail ATM that supports an NFC option can take the upgrade. Not sure yours does? Ask us — a quick message to support@paytree.com will sort it out.
